....punished in "develpmentally appropriate" ways when they are bullying other kids. I'm so glad that I am raising them, and not some state employee who is more worried about damaging the psyche of the bully than dealing with the problem. I am totally venting here, but the public school system is a joke! For those of you who know where this is coming from, I realize that they were talking about preschool. However, preschoolers quickly become kindergarteners, and they quickly become first graders, and so on. There are so many problem children these days. In no way is it totally any one person's fault. But when parents are pressured to be politcally correct with their children, there is a problem! Wow, that was some incoherent ramble! |

I know what you mean. Here if a kid get hit & does nothing about it, they still get suspended. I can't believe they are punishing kids for being the victim. Talk about your messed up values!

I got an email yesterday from an old friend from high school. He helps out part time coaching the speech and drama team. He told me yesterday that the kids can be just awful with attitudes and such. He said if he was ever like that he wished someone had jackslapped him. lol |
