Anything special planned for your home school?

We'll be starting Girl Scouts...visiting the state fair...starting our formal Nature Study again...visiting a railroad museum, going to the zoo, and starting our holiday crafting. We're also revving up for our little crafting business, which I am incorporating into school, too.

What are you doing in September?

Our September will consist of one mini-vacation....to Branson for a family get-gether.  We will probably incorporate some educational aspcts into this, but nothing formal.

We will also be planning a trip to Grant's Farm in St Louis...we've never been and I think the boys would LOVE it. 

Other than that, my youngetst starts preschool again at our church..he's so excited.  LOL  It's one day a week for 3 1/2 hours.  So during that time my oldest and I get organized one-on-one time together.  :) 

Basically, we're just trying to get  into a schedule of some sort.  LOL  But we're keeping busy, that's for sure!

We'll be into school full swing by that time. We started this week, but just a little just to get back into it.

In September I want to go to the Apple Orchards, do a leaf collection (which means a hike in the woods!), we'll be going to the fair too.

I would like to get some schedule of some sort too, but I don't think it will happen. We have alot of changes coming up. We mostly just take one day at a time!

2 weeks on a beach- it's vacation time. :-) 

I don't have anything in particular planned, but our co-op has a field trip to the State Park one Friday. The kids will get to learn how to survive in the woods. Eating plants from the forest floor should be memorable!

Aw, Renae, I'm jealous! I wish we had a fabulous co-op here. Nada. Have fun!
