Really enjoyed this book. A lot of twists and turns in the plot.Soon after Laura is orphaned, An uncle she never knew she had shows up at her door and invites her to his family plantation in Florida. She is excited to be part of a family for the first time and eagerly accepts and is soon introduced into the world with Slaves and the battle to free them. A good read.
