"A fast paced story of spells and consequences." -- Library Journal

More of a novella than a full length novel.

Originally published as a short story in an anthology, this is now a VERY short novel, less than 90 pages. Good story of lovers separated by 1000 years but meant to be together. Little time in such a short volume for much character development but a pleasant quick read.

The book that I have is a compilation book. It also contains Ever After and In Dreams. Both are by Nora Roberts.

I liked the concept, and it was written well but it could have been so much better. There are so many angles that weren't explored. And it kind of just ended. I am not a huge fan of Nora Roberts because of the simplicity of her novels. I read this because of the super-natural element. I don't feel like I wasted my time though. I was hooked from page one.

Very magical story. Short but one of Nora Roberts best. There are five of these little short "gems" of books, all written by different authors. Reality and fantasy...this tale blurs the boundaries between the two. Fantastic story.
