Reese and Anderson have put together a solid book looking at the history of mentoring and sharing some practical lessons for mentoring in today's spiritual atmosphere. Starting with how to identify good mentors and/or fertile students it moves to very practical advice that you can test in real life.
I think the most powerful idea I pulled away with was the purpose of mentoring. Anderson and Reese say it is to empower people to "discover ones unique voice for kingdom service which comes from intimacy with God and fully understanding your identity as a child of God." I love that! This is a really good book if you are interested in mentoring and living in a community of accountability.
