An incredible story of the survival of 6 people after their boat was sunk by whales in the Pacific Ocean. It's the story of 38 days adrift in a raft and dinghy until they are rescued.

This is a true account of survial. At 10 am on June 15, 1972 the 43 foot schooner Lucette, sailed by a Scottish ex-farmer, his wife and their four children, was attacked by killer whales in the South Pacific and sank in 60 seconds.

Robertson was a British merchant marine before he married and became a famer. His experience certainly saved his family. Resourceful and brave, I would want Mr. Robertson on any ship I was sailing on. Barring tht I would want to have half the guts and ingenuity and perservance he had. Definitely a great book of adventure. But be watned, some of it is not pretty.
