A sometimes confusing story about two boys, 33,000 years apart, who work to help each other with their own problems. One finally sacrifices himself to help the other. Not all books have happy endings.

It was also interesting how scientific advances in one era affected those in another era progress in developing basic skills.

And all of this occurs because of our love of money.
