"Have you ever read something so beautiful,
you thought you would cry?"
I asked.
He didn't answer.
"Have you ever loved someone so much,
that your heart cracked?"
I couldn't look at him when I spoke.
He didn't reply.
"Have you ever wept tears of blood
at the sound of my name?"
I could barely talk.
I touched his hand,
the coldness made me shiver.
Again he didn't say anything.
"Will you ever understand how this kills me?"
I didn't expect an answer.
I knew he couldn't speak.
I placed the ring he had given me,
into his hands,
brushed back his hair,
and turned away from him forever.
The frozen air bit my lip,
like his kiss.

This is very intense - pithy and poignant.

Wow! I hope this doen't sound corney but I love to read things and just be open and not with an expectation of anything at all. To really feel what the person is writing and see my reaction. I liked this because it just was BAM right there, I liked this alot, thankyou.
