Taken from the back cover:

" 1943: Beautiful young American model Aline Griffith is recruited as a spy, trained and flown to Spain. Her mission : to infiltrate the higest echelons of Spanish soceity and uncover secret links to the Nazis.

Under the code name "Tiger" this remarkable woman probed the depths of the Nazi underground, risking her life, and her love in a glittering world of high intrigues far more exciting than any fictionalized thriller. The Spy wore Red is a true story, the dangers are true"

I loved this book., It is refreshing to see a woman be able to compete in a 'man's world' of intrigue and alliances. This is Aline's true account of her adventures as a spy during WWII.
