This is a great read for a true history buff interested in what really happened during the World War II; particularly since this is shown both from the viewpoint of the Russians and the Nazi's.

Very good reading for a truthful non-fiction historical account. I usually read historical fiction centered on warfare. This battle's scope is hard to imagine, truly amazing what man will do.

Excellent book on Stalingrad. Perhaps because I didn't know much about it, other than in general terms. The author pulls one into the depth and horrors of war.
