Western Romance. Innocent and childlike Raine was nothing but a bedraggled waif when Lance Randall rescued her from a San Francisco saloon full of brawling miners.
This is one of those stories that makes you smile at the end. It is difficult to write a character who is naive and innocent w/o the reader getting really, REALLY annoyed at how stupid she is, but you don't have that in this book. She isn't irritating or whiny and he isn't condescending towards her.
It is just a simple, sweet story.
