Two books, neatly packaged together, are an illustrated game for two players. The illustrations show what you see out of the canopy of your TIE Interceptor or your X-wing. Very neat, actually!
Look at your incoming opponent, pick a maneuver, tell your opponent to turn to the appropriate page, your opponent picks a counter maneuver and you both turn to a new page to see what happened in your space battle.
