I was torn about this book. I liked it but at the same time felt it was cheesy and could've been written better. Overall though, I'd reccomend it for a light read.
THE STARRY CHILD is a spellbinding adventure, a tale as timeless as the mystic legends of the ancients, yet as vibrant and
alive as those whose fates now hang in the balance. The mixing of the mystical myths of the Celts with modern day California
is brilliantly designed, making for a unique, crisp story line.
The characters are very likeable and real as they deal with their impending doom. The three main characters are all warm
and real as they struggle to deal with a perilous inevitability that most likely will lead to their doom [a young widow
who learns that her own destiny is forever tied to an undying love held in trust in the heart of a little girl.]
THE STARRY CHILD is one of the most imaginative love stories to have been published in several years. I love a good
paranormal romance novel and this is one I highly recommend to all.

I rarely give five stars, but this one was great! A little bit of everything - romance, suspense, adventure - all against the backdrop of Scottish legends. Loved it, highly recommended!
