First of all, I must admit, I love my some Byron Ballard. Personally, she is funny, smart, hilarious and just a joy to be around. Her books are a reflection of her personality. You will not find a more down to earth real life account of witchcraft as it has been practiced throughout the ages. A perfect down to earth account of her life in the mountains where she has spent her entire life. I am for sure going to use every word in this book, her spells are simple yet effective, and more importantly easy to understand the thought process behind them. When you understand the thought process you will become empowered to create your own magical workings. If you can not git yourself to listen to this amazing lady talk of her kin and experience her musing, you must absolutely read her books. She is amazing and one of my favorite people in the world.
