Author: Kelley Armstrong
Even though she's the world's only female werewolf, Elena Michaels is just a regular girl at heart -- with larger than normal appetites. She sticks to three feasts a day, loves long runs in the moonlight, and has a lover who is unbelievable frustrating yet all the more sexy for his dark side. Like every regular girl, she certainly doesn&...  more »

I have heard and read quite a few people say they liked "Bitten" (1st book) better, but I have to say I disagree. I liked this one much better. It seemed faster paced and lots more fun. The first was okay, yet it seemed to lack something. It was definatley a 'meet the characters' type of thing, less story~ more introduction...which was good enough for me to get this second book, but this book was better enough for me to want to continue the series! A very enjoyable quick read =)

In Bitten, 30 yrd old Elena Michaels came to terms with her feral appetites and claimed the proud identity of a beautiful, successful woman- and the only living female werewolf.

In Stolen, on a mission for her own elite pack, she is lured into the net of ruthless Internet billionaire Tyrone Winsloe, who has funded a bogus scietific investigation of the "other races" and their supernatural powers. Kidnapped and studied in his underground lab deep in the Maine woods, these paranormals-witches, vampires, shamans, werewolves-are then released and hunted to the death in a real-world video game. But when he captures Elena, he finally meets his match.

Great book!!!

Book number two in the Women of the Otherworld series brings back my favorite heroine to date, Elena Michaels. We are introduced to three new characters who will become very important in later books. Action packed and kudos to Ms. Armstrong, still filled with great plot and character development. I only wish she would write faster!

There's members of the paranormal who are missing where are they, who's taking them?? Then Elena Michaels is stolen will the pack be able to find her before anything happens to her? Or will Elena find her way out? I'm not telling!!! You will have to read the book to find out...
Anyways it a very good book and will have you wanting to read more to find out the ending... Very good book watching for Bk #3.

Everything is just rather intense, but beyond that, it is so well written - the descriptions, the characters, the plot and twists. The only part that bothered me was right after Elena was captured and she was being taken on a tour of the facility - she just seemed to be taking it all a bit too casually for me to believe that would be her reaction. But that didn't last too long, so I got back into the story and character quickly.

Kelley Armstrong is a great writer, who writes adventuresome novels filled with equal parts romance and sex, humor and fun, and magic and mayhem, winding several storylines together in her Women of the Otherworld novels, dealing with witches, werewolves, and demons. I enjoyed them enough when I read them for the first time, that this request for her books was actually a second go around, because I wanted to read them again, and add them to my own private stash of books. I highly recommend them to all magic lovers out there.

My second book of this series and it only got better. It brought in more characters who I am sure will appear in other segments of this series. I look forward to reading more books in this series.

Excellent addition to the Women of the Otherworld series. Elena is back as the only female werewolf. Just as she is accepting her roel in the pack, she is kidnapped by a billionaire nutcase who wants to study paranormals and then hunt them. Ty Winsloe has to be one of the most despicable antagonists I read in a long while. Jeremy, Clay and a cast of new paranormals all come together to save Elena and the others in the compound. Good characters, good story. 4 stars

This is the second book in Armstrong's debut series, continuing Elena's story. An excellent follow-up, Elena is captured by a man amassing a collection of supernatural creatures. This book introduces characters who are later given their own books, and is best read after the first book, Bitten.
