So I like to listen to mysteries and thrillers on audio CD when I work or work around the house. I have some James Patterson books on WL for audio CD only. Also an Alexander McCall Smith book on audio cd only. I don't want paperback, hardback or cassette. But I keep getting emails that another version is available. I only want the CD version I have WL. I don't want to shut the email off completely because if I have a paperback on WL and another edition of that paperback is posted I might want it. I didn't check my email for a few days and I have 12 emails for each CD I have WL from PBS telling me there's another version available. Am I going to have to just turn these emails off altogether? Can I even do that? |

I think it's an all or nothing type thing, but I'll go look around : ) OK, I'm back. I can't find any way that you could be selective about getting emails for this alternate version and not that alternate version. I don't know a whole lot about programming, but from my itty-bitty knowledge that would be some serious programming for a site this size. That said, if you decide that you want to turn off the feature completely, go to your account - click settings - click email - and put a check mark in the boxes for any mail that you don't want - click update. Hope this helps : ) Last Edited on: 10/11/07 7:25 PM ET - Total times edited: 1 |

I had to turn mine off. I would get about 6 a day on different versions. I delete them. They are back again, day after day. |
