At first I couldn't stand Fliss! She was so feel with anger about something that she never understood. It was obvious that she was thinking as a child of 16 rather than a mature woman of 23! I understood Vidal, his arrogance, and of course I knew that he was sheilding Fliss by accepting her anger and blame. There ending was emotional but not enough for me to get worked up about it, by the end I just wanted Fliss to grow up and Vidal to get his happy ending.
