Ex-exotic dancer Silver LeGrande turns sleuth when a killer strangles another dancer. The mystery deepens when the police question the victim's "party partner"—Silver's ex-husband. When Silver finds her ex hanging from his living room rafters, the police are quick to brand the two cases a murder-suicide. But Silver's not buying it, and neither is detective Alexi Serras, a wild-card cop with irresistible sex appeal.

An ex-stripper attending community college seems an unlikely detective, but when her friends and then exhusband end up dead under suspicious circumstances one after the other, and the police won't listen ... Silver ends up chasing the leads herself, along with an off duty cop who has a backside like Adonis...

Armed with a diploma in street smarts and enough curves to make a grown man cry, Silver LeGrande set out to solve the murder that had invaded her life. But the killer seemed prepared to do anything to cover up the first-degree crime...even repeat it.
Silver's greatest ally was a hell-bent cop named Alexi Serras who had eyes of steel that saw through her tough-girl facade straight into her heart and soul. In between the murder and mayhem, would they find a match made in heaven?
This is my first book by Darlene Scalera and at first I thought it was a little strange because the main character Silver's thoughts are what you are reading a lot of the time. But, the more I read more I really liked her and it kept my interest without giving away who the bad guys were. Numerous interesting characters in this book.
