I have personally loved Davis Bunn's books for the longest time. He writes with a good flair and it really pulls you into the story. And let me tell you, Strait of Hormuz was no different. This is the third and final book in the Marc Royce Adventures and boy was it a good one! You get to meet up with a bunch of old friends and see how things turn out. I even had a couple surprises in here;)

One of my favorite aspects with a book by Davis Bunn is how he mixes Christianity in a novel without making it offensive. The main character is a christian, but he isn't pushy about it. They have real life struggles(okay, Marc is a little above the ordinary but that makes him pretty good in my book), personal battles and you see how they work through them. I also felt like I learned history and geography as Davis Bunn throws in so much detail you are immersed in the story. Only problem with the book? It makes it very hard for ordinary men to measure up to Marc!! He is such a great hero. Strong and yet humble. Okay, he ends up that way, but you know what I mean. Wonderful guy all around:) Great book with a definite 5 stars. Can't wait to see what is next for your readers, Mr Bunn!!

I received a copy of this book for review purposes. All thoughts are 100% mine.
