Stranded with the Tempting Stranger is a good read by fantastic author Brenda Jackson. The story revolves around Bahamian beauty Cassie Garrison who is the illegitimate daughter of a multi-millionaire businessman John Garrison who was leading a double life with a wife and other kids in America. When her father dies, he leaves Cassie his hotel in the Bahamas, an action that shocks her other siblings. Litigator Brandon Washington arrives in the Bahamas with a mission. He wants to dig up dirt on Cassie in order to use it against her if the Garrison family decides to contest the will. But rather than finding skeletons in Cassie's closet, Brandon finds a woman that he can't resist. This is a cute book, although the romance flew at such a rapid pace that it took my breath away. Everything happened a little too fast but it was enjoyable.

Stranded Between A Series
I'm a BIG fan of Brenda Jackson! I just find it hard to get much enjoyment out of some of the Silhouette Desire Series, especially when she participates with other authors. Only because I'm NOT always interested in reading the other author's contribution to the series. And if you don't read the whole series, it's like coming into to the theater after 1/2 the movie is over and trying to get a grasp on what's happening, which is a TOTAL waste of money. The storyline was decent. I enjoyed the heated attraction between Brandon and Cassie. Everything just happens so quickly, it's hard to really develop a relationship with the characters. I must admit at the mention of some of the other Garrison's, I was a little intrigued about the outcome of the rest of the series, but I very much doubt I'll continue with the series. That being said, if you're a Brenda Jackson fan, then you've DEFINITELY read better, but it was still an okay read!
