It's a good story, about two cultures and related problems; some technology -- aliens of course -- , but the emphasis I think is on the social side of science fiction. Well written. The small sized print was what caught my eye at first. It looks like size 10 versus about 16 points used in my email program. The page count is 166 but if the print was the same size as most current books, you could add another hundred pages. The book copyright is 1978 and the back page has a government poster exhorting everyone to save oil, so the small print may be an energy reduction effort. Still a good read.
