It was a bit of a slog to get through this book. The main character is mired in her own problems so that you have a difficult time keeping up with her. The descriptions of her job are very long. I had to reread a lot of the explanations from the men who are helping redo the house. I was disappointed since I love Jewel so much. Not the best book by Lott.
