I really enjoyed this book. The bridge between literature and medical is fairly seamless. It's very entertaining and informative at the same time. If you have any fascination with the heart and its origins in thought and in how it works then I suggest this book. I managed to devour it for its knowledge in only a few days. It's rare that a book that lends itself to be nonfiction, and even medical, could be a book that is hard to put down.
