This book had the potential to be so sexy and exciting. At the front of the story hearing the woman's emotional struggle with her budding BDSM relationship is believable and, I think, appropriate to the situation she finds herself in. You can almost understand the total lack of character development of the dominant man so the focus of the story is completely on the emotional upheaval of the submissive woman. As the story continues, though, the emotional breakdown she suffers from her obsession basically becomes tiresome and you just want to tell her to get a psychiatrist.

While this may be classified as erotica, do not expect great sex, detailed sex, or even a lot of sex.

By the close of the book I was utterly depressed over her emotional anguish. I like my erotica less angst-filled.

Interesting account of how a woman can become submissive to a man who she has no love from. It made me angry and sad for the woman. I keep asking myself how she could let herself become this dominated person, but the author does a good job of describe the woman's feeling. You can almost understand how she became this other person. The book cover states that this book is based on the author's own experiences which makes the reader ask even more questions I think.

I couldn't get into this one! I read the first couple of chapters until I had to put it down. The writing was horrible. Maybe the story line wasn't too bad, but I couldn't get past the elementary writing. Two thumbs down from me!
