We need material like this. It is refreshing to read a novel which has a love story which is refreshing and clear and clean . Its also wonderful to have an author who is not afraid to share his faith in the midst of all of the "political correctness" which is robbing us of our spirituality, A nation with freedom of religion does not mean freedom from religion which some of our leaders seem to have forgotten. Dr. Larimore is a refreshing breath in the medical practice and in literature.
It has been refreshing to see Western North Carolina through his eye. Though I have been a native flatlander who came to Baton Rouge in 1955, that same year I made my first trip to Montreat North Carolina, While there we traveled to Bryson City to take advantage of the beautiful Natahala River and its white water rafting the NOC has been our favorite outfitter. We now have a home in Beech Mountain, NC, just north of Banner Elk. Dr, Larimore's descriptions of the culture of Western North Carolina is refreshingly accurate; he does the folks justice in his descriptions.
