Im looking to "broaden" my author list a little bit.

I would really like to find authors that are kinda similar to Debbie Macomber. I enjoy the light romance, little mystery, funny stores, that kind.....of reading.

 Can you help me?

  Melissa

 Thanks in advance!!!

LaVyrle Spencer- though she is retired now, has some good historicals and contemporaries. She has sweet romances that are not heavy on sex scenes.

Curtiss Ann Matlock- she is one of my favorites and i think writes simular to Macomber's style of books.

Emilie Richards

Robyn Carr

Dorothy Garlock- she is an American Historical author, writing about different era's of our country (like the 1930's, WWII, the Great Depression, etc.) she writes good stories, i have always enjoyed her books.

Karen Robards and Karen Harper are the authors i turn to if i want a mystery along with my romance. Robards tends to inject humor into her stories too.....i would recommend "Whispers at Midnight" by Robards, i caught myself laughing outloud at times during this book!

Barbara Delinsky- i recommend "Three Wishes", but keep the kleenex handy towards the end!

I think Janet Evanovich writes some funny stuff--I like the Full House series...I haven't read her Stephanie Plum series yet but I think they are supposed to be good.
