  Summer Day

Holding the keys to life
Reciting Godfathers prayers
Passing on the wisdom one may share

Silver lining
Fleeting memories of juvenile age
Standing memories of older years

Black pearls
Red diamonds
Rare as a winters rose

Outer covering of your heart
Waterfall rainbows of my love
Exquisite in its rarity

Caressing tears
Butterfly kisses
Dancing curves to the music of ones heart

Heart hard in its despair
Loneliness seeping in the cracks
Dams breaking in ones soul

Dawns rising
Mist shining ones love
Summers day of shining light momma
You’re in my heart tonight

Dedicated to
Malia Villafane
