Acclaimed author Christy Yorke brings us her new, life-affirming novel about a psychiatrist and her patient, a man whose impulsive belief in the inherent insanity of love awakens her to an irresistible garden of deliglht.

A rich, colorful story of love, family and letting go, this book has sympathetic characters you root for. It's been compared to Alice Hoffman's work and it has some of those magical elements, but not the same sense of whimsy as Ms. Hoffman's books. But, very enjoyable - and, so vivid, the images stay with you for days.

How many artists and poets have we learned had mental health issues, many died young, some by their own hand. The question raised in this book is where is the line between drugs to allow a person to be part of a society and losing their sense of self. Story follows a family of two doctors, who always stay between the lines, but just for a few months ask themselves if their lines are too dark and bold.
Book is not serious, but a light-hearted look, capable of asking some tough questions.
