A spunky red-headed librarian, realistically written children, a hunky hero who doesn't really want to fall in love, an involved and caring community, and horses - what's not to like! This was a great fun romantic read.

Susan Mallery continues growing her town of Fool's Gold, CA. What amazes me most is how much I enjoy reading her stories. No murder, mayhem or paranormal elements, just regular (yet beautiful/handsome) people falling in love and finding a way to make it work. You know how it's going to end, it's how they get there that is so enjoyable. Thanks again, Susan Mallery.

After a few Mallery books that got a mediocre review from me, I finally landed on one that I adored. Some of the dialogue had me laughing out loud, especially when Annabelle and Shane first met.

Annabelle was a great character. She was charming and fun. Shane was a big idiot towards the end and I was starting not to like him simply because instead of dealing with his issues, he would pick fights. But he did redeem himself in the end.

Good,quick read.

Summer Nights is a great summer read. I love that Annabelle wanted to learn how to ride a horse for her fundraiser for her bookmobile that she cares so much about. I don't want to give away anything. There was so many twists & turns in this book! I love that so much. There is 1 thing that I absolutely love a lot, but I can not say. My daughter is disabled & she takes horseback riding lessons. Summer Nights is my favorite book in the entire Fool's Gold series! I give 5 stars! Way to go Susan Mallery!!

These Fool's Gold books are just plain fun. I like how she ties them together but also separates them into small groups. I liked this book for Annabelle, a strong woman

I am in love with Fool's Gold and the continuing saga of this town's women. In Summer Nights, we continue to experience the magic of this community and its people. I expecially liked this book because of the magnificent horse who is a major supporting character. I can't wait for All Summer Long which is the next book in the series.
