The first word that comes to mind when I think of this book is weird. The second is disturbing and the third is dysfunctional. All those tie into this mad, mind-bending piece of work. It centers around Rob and her family. Going from her family now with her husband and kids to her family back when she was a kid at Sundial. Throughout the story, there is disturbing matter of animal and child abuse and domestic violence. Some of it was hard to handle but I didn't think it was too over the top. The story had so many twists and turns, I just had to go to the end to see what was going on.
