Sunny Acres is an "appointed" heroine, and the book a is lively and fun "read". Paranormal, yes, a wizard stole the plans of how to open 'rifts' in the fabric of reality so that there are demons getting through into earth and causing many, many problems. Four individuals have been appointed "the Armor of God" and given some extraordinary powers. It has been a totally enjoyable book for me. Will I look for more books by this author: ABSOLUTELY, yes!
