Another in Austin's series about The Sunshine Coast, BC.
Josie led a charmed life until her luck changed. First it was a bad haircut, then she lost her job. Her parents (and best friends) decide to move 3000 miles away.
When she gets the call that her father has left her mother, she drives out to sort out the nonsense.
What she finds, makes her question her entire life. She can stay where she is or she can fight to make changes in her life. And, maybe, by fighting her luck will change.
Austin's Sunshine Coast books are becoming favourites of mine. This is the second one I've read and I'm looking for the rest!

GOOD Read!
Didn't hold my attention.
From the back of the book:
Since when did life ever tell you where you were going?
Josie Harris always drew comfort from the thought that she lived a charmed life. Unexciting, perhaps, but stable and predictable. In a rut? Josie counted that as luck--at least one knew what would happen next.
Then disaster struck. Her parents moved across the country, she lost her job and, worst of all--after more than 40 years of marriage, her father announced he was leaving her mother. Some local hussy had lured him away! What kind of senior community was this?
Josie knew it was time to take charge. She had to make her parents see sense. So she drove across to the Sunshine Coast and was soon immersed in a new job, new community...and most of all, a new and totally unexpected love.
