Fun book. Not great literature, but was a joy to read, written with much wit and insight.

While it's a cute idea, appointing a Judge-Judy type to the Supreme Court, I was less impressed with the execution of the idea. Rather than telling a good story, which this so could have been, Buckley used it as a means to express his opinions of the current or recent justices (though of course, he "cleverly" renamed them.) Since I do my own reading and form my own opinions of the Supreme Court Justices, I don't need to borrow Buckley's. I would have preferred a good story.

I really enjoyed this book and its very likeable leading character, and will look for more by Chris Buckley. Fun satirical read, sorta makes you wish there were something this simple to stick it to the dysfunctional Congress.
A sequel would be great.
