I just read "Ain't She Sweet" and lost sleep reading way into the night.  I loved ALL the characters and how she allowed us to see the good and bad in all of them instead of making some characters "good" and some "bad".  I think I have only read one other book by her.

For those of you who have read "Ain't She Sweet" and her other books, how do they compare in your opinion?

I haven't read Ain't She Sweet but it's on my reminder list! However, I have read Lady Be Good and Nobody's Baby but MIne and I really enjoyed them....enough that most of her books are on my reminder list! I have another book of hers in my TBR pile but I cannot remember which one...I know it's one of the Chicago Stars books though.

I LOVED Ain't She Sweet, and have actually read most of her backlist--I would say that most of her books are really good.  There have been a couple where I didn't like the characters as much but still enjoyed the book as a whole, and only one where I haven't finished the book.  Of the Chicago Stars, I liked It Had to Be You and Heaven,Texas the best.  This Heart of Mine was the one I haven't finished.

I actually liked most of her others better than Ain't She Sweet. I've read quite a few and they were fun. I wasn't crazy about Fancy Pants, though.

I would say Dream a Little Dream is the most like Aint She Sweet. You would probably want to read Nobody's Baby but Mine before that one, though. My favorites are also It Had to Be You and Heaven, Texas. And I liked Kiss an Angel, though it's a bit more of an "old school" romance. (Hero really mean.)

SEP is my favorite romance author. I would really recommend the Stars series, but in order so you get the back story of the characters. I think if you haven't read them in order you can't really appreciate all of her nuances and character development. The Stars order is: It Had To Be You; Heaven, Texas; Nobody's Baby But Mine; Dream A Little Dream; This Heart of Mine; Match Me If You Can; and her latest which is only in hardcover right now Natural Born Charmer.

I have trouble picking a favorite but This Heart of Mine, Nobody's Baby..., Kiss an Angel, and Ain't...are close. The only ones I really didn't care for all that much were Hot Shot, Breathing Room, and Honey Moon.--but other people consider some of those their favorites, it really just depends on your tastes I guess.
