Hannah Rose accepts a mail order proposal from a storekeeper on the Texas border and leaves her home to go to him. On the way, so many calamities happen to deter her, she loses direction and falls in love with a US Marshall before she gets to her destination. A cute and funny story. Worth the read.

Feisty Hannah Rose runs away rather than accept an arranged marriage. She unwittingly runs straight into the arms of her family's most bitter enemy. Lori Copeland's classic story is both funny and touching, passionate and entertaining.

Marriage seemed the only solution for Hannah Rose Brewster whose fiery temper was the talk of four counties. So her family arranged a match and shipped her off to a one horse cattle town on the Tex-Mex border. But fate had other plans including a moonstruck night and a seductive stranger. Cool, rugged Luke Kincaid though the boys has sent him a "birthday present". She was a surprise, all right. The Kincaids and the Brewsters had been feuding for decades. Luke savored his forbidden prize until the day he discovered her identity.
