Can you survive in a storm--in the past, in the presnt...or in the future?
Your parents are away for the weekend, leaving you home alone for the first time. You're so excited, you don't know what to do first. You decide to take the family boat out on Lake Chaplain and visit nearby Providence Island with your friend Tom. You are more than halfway there when a fierce storm suddenly kicks up. The boat is taking in water fast. Soon you can no longer make out the dock ahead of you, or see the island shoreline. What will you do?
If you decide to turn around and go back, turn to page 82. If you decide to try to make it to the island, turn to page 33. But be careful! You could find yourself stranded on the island, in a strange time warp that might leave you trapped in the past or in the distant future. Or you could solve the mystery of the Indian burial grounds and enjoy the secrets of eternal life!
