SO MANY NIGHTS I CANNOT SLEEP.WHEN MY HEAD TOUCHES THE PILLOW,I BEGAN TO WEEP.THINGS I THOUGHT DEAR ARE NOW GONE.LONG TIME FRIENDS AND CHILDHOOD HOME. A MOTHER WHO CARED IS NO LONGER THERE,PHYSICALLY SHE IS,MENTALITY SHE'S NOT,BY FAMILY AND FRIENDS SHE'S MISSED ALOT.CLOTHES THAT STILL SMELL OF HER FAVORITE PERFUME,HER SPECIAL TOUCH IN EVERY ROOM.MOM'S LAUGHTER AND HUMOR,WE ALL SHARED,NOW OUR WORLD WITHOUT HER IS BARE. WE'LL NEVER FORGET HER,NOR WOULD WE TRY.OUR MOM IS THE APPLE OF OUR EYE. WE GO TO SEE HER IN THE NURSING HOME,SHE DOESN'T KNOW,SHE LIVES IN A WORLD OF HER OWN.YEARS AGO SHE WENT TO HER FINAL REST,THO WE DIDN'T WANT TO LOSE HER,WE KNEW IT WAS BEST,FOR NOW SHE SUFFERS NO MORE,FOR SHE'S AT HOME WITH OUR LORD. |
