As is in the first book of this two-part series the hero makes certain assumptions about the heroine and the heroine plays along with it. But when the truth comes out suddenly the heroine fell in love and the hero is disgusted and wants nothing to do with her. Eventually they get their happy ending but its not believable or heartfelt. the only redeeming thing was that the hero made up with his mom.
