Awe! I just loved the ending. This is the second book in the series. I thought the mystery was well planned out and multi layered. I liked how all the part of the mystery were somehow connected.
I think the author has the right balance of Christian values, and not getting too preachy, but our character grows as she listens to God. It can be hard to find Christian authors who can find that balance. This is the type of Christian books I prefer.
I have to read book 3 right away to see how things progress with Callie and her boss Tom.

Mindy Starns Clark is a terrific writer and I would highly recommend any of her books. This is a book that will keep your attention from the first page and never let up. Good clean story from a Christian author.

Clark writes a good Christian novel that builds suspense and yet her characters have an easy manner, more like the folks next door rather than the gritty detective on TV. I wanted to read this from beginning to end and I'm requesting another by this author.

Thoroughly enjoyable...not too deep but is still clean and cute. I will definitely continue reading this series for a quick, fun read.
