  I work for them
from dark till light
tired as a dog
and she starts a fight

life hands out more
than I can take
so I had a few beers
and came home late

it ainít like Iím
my old man
couldnít keep a job
but I sure can

she gets a look
like a scarred kitten
it gets me mad
and I start hittin

I screwed up
I went to far
Iíll buy some flowers
and swear off the bar

Iíve always loved her
Iíll never stop
Iíd stop drinkin
if sheíd shut up

nice to see the other point of view represented, tells me you have empathy and understanding. He's lucky to have you.
