Imagine that you are a teenage girl, the only child of your widowed father. Naturally your only parent would become your whole world, but what if that world was a lie? Eventually though, she comes to realize that her father is hiding things from her - things that will change her reality.
"Taking Terri Mueller" is a poignant, engaging mystery appropriate for ages 12 and up. There's no sex, violence or profanity that I can recall, but the story itself is mature and at times, intense. I first fell in love with this book at 10, and now as an adult, my only complaint is that it was slightly shorter than I hoped it would be.
