A sick little girl's hamster tells her tales of his grandfather's adventures. Lots of fun. Good black and white illustrations scattered lightly throughout.
This was my favorite book as a young girl. I read it over and over again. It is the only book from childhood that I have kept. Now, a delightful read for my animal loving boys. Mr. Pengachoosa's adventures offer a refreshing return to the innocence of yesteryears children's books.
