This was a thoroughly entertaining book. It's the autobiography of a 108 year old man who grew up just west of Des Moines Iowa in the latter part of the 19th century and early 20th century. Very well written without endless pages of description and what Leroy Daniels was thinking. Fast moving and very informative for anyone interested in early century rural life and of course, horses.
