This is a very informative treatment of the "information war" in Vietnam from personal experience in the mid-sixties. It offers insight into that war which is rarely seen or understood by the brass, the media, and the public.

Why was I not surprised that in the end it was finally revealed that the Vietnamese bureau chief for NBC News in Saigon was a Vietcong/NVA spy? And we wonder why our citizens were getting slanted news.

Tourison tells the true story of his experience as a linguist/interrogator and outstanding analyst without ego or an agenda. This is an excellent read.

From the book cover: The fascinating true account of the VC, NVA, the Gulf of Tonkin incident, the tunnels of Cu Chi, and much, much more.
