We read this book in our later ele. reading group. The adults felt there wasn't enough go to this book to keep their interest up. Now the kids loved it. My son has read this book 4 times. I think he's drawn to the confidence of the main characters. The author has a way of making the reader feel as if they are one of the kids in this 5th grade class room and we get to observe how the kids handle their delemas all from a safe distance.
