I purchased this book for myself from Borders a couple of years ago and picked up another copy for a friend through the swap. Highly recommended as a starting point for Photoshop if you have some computer skills but little-to-no experience with this type of program. This book was more helpful in getting me started than an online community college course. Very easy to use.
A picture is worth a thousand words and these pictures definitely define this visual tool.
