Just as an intro -- I homeschooled (actually UNschooled) my daughter in high school. After a while she decided to go for a degree, concentrating in Sign Language Interpretation and Deaf Special Services.

This textbook is one published by her current school, San Antonio College (Texas) and I'm offering it here for anyone wanting to teach their kids this combined subject. It IS listed on my bookshelf so, if you're interested, go look for it there. She purchased it new and doesn't like to write in books, so it's in immaculate condition.

And for those of you who catch flack for homeschooling -- it's definitely the way to go and, if I had it to do all over again, my kids would never have gone to school!

Thanks for the encouragement.  We are not in TX and several years away from college level reading. But your book does sound like a great deal for someone who needs to cover both of those topics!
