This is a book about bringing restoration to human trafficking victims around the world. Much of the focus comes from victims in Cambodia and Thailand, but there are also stories of people from the US, Brazil, and Uganda.
Most of the accounts in this book deal with sex trafficking stories, but there are child soldier and labor trafficking stories as well. Each one is heartbreaking. There are also some accounts with ladyboys, which out of the over 40 books I've read on human trafficking, this is only the second one I've read that has brought it up (it needs to be brought up more often).
What I truly loved the most about this book, is that there were great stories of redemption and each tied into real organizations that have helped others find healing in Jesus Christ. There were many miraculous stories and I believe that is because each account was in dealing with "the least of these" who had a gaping hole in their hearts and a deep desire to be loved, only to find it filling up with Jesus' warmth.
It was a fast read as well and only took me a few hours to get through.
