I almost felt like I was missing part of the story. This is listed at Goodreads as the first in the series but there was too much backstory with another character to believe that. But overall, while it had a few tender moments, I came away feeling disoriented and somewhat baffled about what I had just read.

An interesting sci-fi romance. Not erotica. While interesting, it did not affect me emotionally. So it was not as good as I'd have liked.
