This book reminds me of Snow Crash by Neal Stephenson. Snow Crash was one of the best sci-fi/fantasy books I ever read, and while Technogenesis is not quite that good, it is still very worthwile. The evolution of the internet will no doubt bring on some intersting developments, and this story explores an interesting scenario.

I was a little disappointed in the main character - Jaz - and how she acted at times, but that is probably just my perspective. I have already requested another one of Syne Mitchell's books to see if I like the next one as much as this one. Enjoy!
